Teach school about you.
Your first day at Jabiru doesn’t start with a bell. It starts with a chat between you and your dedicated learning team. They work with you to understand your background, your interests, your coffee order… and help you design a learning project that will make you genuinely excited to come to school each day.
Social support sits at the heart.
At Jabiru, there’s 1 staff member for every 3-4 young people, which is way more than you’ll find in a traditional school. We make this choice because we’re committed to showing up for you, listening to your story, and ensuring that you always feel part of our community.
Our youth worker teams are fully integrated into the school – not off in some building on the edge of campus – so they’re literally beside you every step of the way. We also have specialist First Nations, LGBTQIA+ and Family Connection workers running group and one-on-one programs.
