We also have a big focus on out-of-the-classroom learning, with workplace shadow days, and internships forming a core part of projects. You’ll learn alongside local mentors and business people in real-world, hands-on environments.

Many of our young people come to us with anxiety and trauma related to previous experiences at school. We know that even hearing the word ‘school’ can be triggering for some. But trust us when we say that Jabiru doesn’t feel like any school you’ve seen before.
Our campus has been architecturally designed for physicality and flow. Here at Jabiru, we get up and move! You can personalise your work area however you like. And we also have dedicated spaces that our First Nations and LGBTQIA+ young people can access whenever they wish.
The best time is lunch time.
Jabiru provides lunch every day, because no one can think on an empty stomach! We eat family-style, serving free, nutritious meals prepared by our on-site cook. Plus, there’s a coffee machine, classroom snacks and a kitchenette you can use at any time.
